3580 Pierce Drive is a loft-office building. Once a warehouse, it was carefully renovated into a first class office building offering very high ceilings, brick walls, mezzanines, and skylights.
It is uniquely qualified to address the needs of businesses. It’s a stone’s throw from a traffic light, thus getting onto the major thoroughfare (Peachtree Parkway) is a breeze. It possessed a parking area large enough to accommodate roughly 4 parking spaces for each 1,000 feet of area, the amount of parking necessary for a successful building (less parking can be problematic.) The bones of the building were attractive, and it had sufficient ceiling height to allow the installation of mezzanines—something not all lofts can offer.
Our tenants cover the gamut of business enterprises including insurance, real estate, consulting, Internet technology, practice management, and the finest salon in Atlanta.
Buckhead, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, College Park, and Midtown.
Absolutely, Chamblee is a strategic location for ready access to virtually all parts of Atlanta. It’s but a few minutes from Buckhead, Perimeter Mall, Pill Hill, I-280, I-85, and DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. Our tenant who was originally located in Buckhead estimates that his staff saves hours a month in transportation time serving clients located throughout Atlanta. The Chamblee MARTA Station is but a few blocks away thus making it easy to get to the airport.
The lease costs are competitive, but when you consider that no rental is assessed on mezzanine areas, the averaged rental rate is less than standard space.
The building is on Pierce Drive just west of the traffic light at Peachtree Boulevard; it’s next door to the OfficeDepot, two properties down from the Chamblee SunTrust, and around the corner from Chamblee High School.
Yea, the school is finished, $70M worth. It’s one of the coolest looking high schools in the State of Ga.
Quite to the contrary, it serves as a foundation of sorts for the overall area. As this response was being typed, the author walked outside where we heard the school’s band warming up for the new school year. Few sounds are any more captivating.
Wallgreen’s and QT are across Peachtree Boulevard, the WalMart Super Store is just down the way, and as most know, no area of Atlanta boasts more interesting restaurants than Chamblee/Doraville.
The government is smaller and more personal. The Chamblee Police department is second to none. Chamblee offers unparalleled convenience.
